A Person Who Has Made a Difference: Thomas Edison

Thomas Alva Edison was a famous American inventor who changed all our lives in so many ways. However, it is little known that Edison had a difficult early life. He came from a poor family and he lost his hearing when he was thrown out from a train when an experiment he was conducting went wrong. It was this inquisitiveness that led to his school years being cut short as he had to leave early. After this early difficult life, he began to start his career.
Edison’s inventions are well-known and had a profound effect on our lives. First of all, he improved the telegraph with his colleagues and this made him famous. After this early success, he invented the gramophone and the kinetoscope. These inventions gave people more fun in their life. However, his most important invention was the light bulb. Although his experiments failed many times, he persevered until the light bulb was invented. Even after this breakthrough, he continued to improve the light bulb. He improved the quality and made it more affordable. This invention let people leave the darkness and make a big difference in the world.
